I’ve Got Nothing

But I’m not breaking my streak. I’m what Gretchen Rubin has called an obliger, someone who can “meet outer expectations, but struggle to meet expectations they impose on themselves.”

If you need me to do something for you, I’ll get it done. If you ask me to do something with you, I’ll be there. Heck, if I just tell you that I’m going to do something, that’s usually enough accountability.

But if I just “want” to do something for myself? Ain’t. gonna. happen.

I want this time to be different. Even if it means short, crappy posts scattered into more thoughtful, less crappy posts. So happy Friday!

What about you? Do you push yourself toward your goals or do better with accountability?
